Bison Valley is a secluded retreat just minutes north of Americus, Georgia.  This quiet country setting is ideal for weddings, church functions, parties, picnics, reunions, corporate events or any special occasion.  We offer wonderful outdoor facilities as well as our brand new lodge that will open mid summer 2009.  We are centrally located between Columbus, Macon and Albany, making us a short drive from anywhere in Southwest Georgia.

Bison Valley Lodge is a beautiful 5,000 square foot log and stone structure nestled amoung the pines overlooking our 50 acres.  Thousands of man hours have been spent creating this fantastic lodge from our 100 year old barn.

Lodge amenities include: auditorium with large stage, dining room, ladies dressing room with private bathroom, full kitchen, and wraparound porch perfect for relaxing and enjoying a view of our property including buffalo.

We have been catering events at our outdoor facility for over fifteen years.  Outdoor amenities include: large shaded picnic area complete with BBQ pit, hot/cold food bar, shelter, tables and plenty of space for children to play.  Horseshoes, baseball field, basketball or fishing in the pond are all available year round.  We have a small herd of buffalo that are always a huge hit with children as well as adults.

Bison Valley also offers full service catering through R & K Catering upon request.  R & K Catering has been in business for over fifteen years and can fulfill your needs regardless of the event on site or off.  From upscale wedding foods to down home southern cooking and everything in between.

Weddings are a specialty at Bison Valley.  We have a large gazebo sitting on the edge of our pond that makes a lovely backdrop for your special day.  There are also may other locations on the property that would make the perfect setting for your outdoor wedding.  With the addition of our lodge, we can also offer you a wonderful indoor option as well.  We are fully staffed to assist with preparation if needed.
